Predictive Analytics: Fact or Science Fiction?

Register Here

Description: As we’ve progressed further into the digital age, we’ve transitioned from big data to advanced analytics; the precursor to Artificial Intelligence (AI). The transformative nature of AI is already being felt in a number of industries, as businesses begin to adopt analytics, automation and housing data in a GIS application. AI and advanced analytics have an especially compelling use case for midstream operators looking to improve the operational efficiency and excellence in their business units. As organizations look to break down traditional silos and make data the cornerstone of managing aging infrastructure, the need for predictive analytics becomes readily apparent. The path to predictive analytics is predicated on the ability to do repeatable scans of an asset or area of interest so the algorithms can start to learn nuances or details. Once a baseline is established, learned anomalies or objects of interest are incorporated into the models so accurate predictions can be delivered.

In this webinar, attendees will:
• Learn how to implement solutions that deliver a continuous stream of data that tracks changes over time in a GIS application
• Get a better understanding of the types of data needed to build predictive models and the methodologies needed to accumulate this data
• Discover common use cases implemented in the market today and their impact on pipeline operations
