Welcome!

Welcome to the EnerGIS 2014 Conference web site!  We hope that you would consider joining us this September 15th and 16th in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania for our second annual conference.

EnerGIS is the conference to attend if you are involved with the Northeast’s energy industries in a geospatial capacity.

Our conference is broadly based, welcoming presentations from any segment of the industry including; oil and gas exploration, electrical and gas distribution and transmission, coal mining, renewable energy, and the ancillary services that support our efforts including; civil engineering, surveying, remote sensing, data management, remote sensing and aerial photography.

We are looking to build upon last year’s conference and hope to make EnerGIS 2014, a larger success.

Our conference is managed by the GITA Mid-Atlantic Chapter, and proceeds from the conference help to support scholarships for Geography and GIS majors within the region.

We hope that you will not only plan on attending the conference this year but would consider submitting an abstract for a presentation.  We hope to hear of you or your firm’s successes and in managing and overcoming your geospatial challenges.

Along with our conference organizing committee, we look forward to seeing you in Canonsburg this September.

Regards & Best Wishes
