GITA Receives Limited Opportunity to Contribute Papers to the GeoBuiz Conference

As part of the agreement to become a strategic partner in the GeoBuiz Conference10-11 August, 2015 at the Marriott Bethesda North and Conference Centre, Maryland, GITA has received the opportunity to present a select number of papers at this new major conference.  A call for papers is provided below in a note from the Association's Past President, Talbot Brooks:

The Geospatial Information and Technologies Association is calling for papers which address fundamental business use case challenges with respect to the application of geospatial technologies within the electric, water, waste water, pipeline, telecommunications, and transportation industries. Papers authored by senior management with an eye towards challenges and solutions which slowed implementation or integration; forecast coming technical challenges, or highlight unique, vendor-neutral solutions are highly sought after. Selected works are to be presented by their authors at the 2015 GEOBUIZ Conference in Bethesda, MD, 10-11 August 2015. Financial support is available for especially pertinent submissions.

Please submit an abstract describing the presentation and a speaker biography, each of which do not exceed 200 words, and headshot to tbrooks@deltastate.edu as soon as possible. Please include “GEOBUIZ Submission” in the subject line.

Kind regards,

Talbot J. Brooks, GISP
