To be the leading information resource and community for anyone who has a vested interest in the use of geospatial information.
GITA takes this vision statement very seriously, and for that reason, the association stays involved in the latest geospatial initiatives—from defining the industry through Department of Labor grants, to helping organizations with geospatial return on investment, to staying abreast of the latest in emergency response and homeland security.
