2.) CGA 811 Excavation Safety Conference & ExpoIn cooperation with the 2018 CGA 811 Excavation Safety Conference & Expo which will be taking place in Phoenix during the same week, five select presentations which bring together the themes of underground utilities and GIS will be presented at the nation's premier event for the underground utility safety community. In 2017 the event attracted nearly 2,000 people, and in 2018 will be hosted in the South Building of the Phoenix Convention Center. Although the event also has a call for abstracts open at this time, the event's quota for GIS presentations will be managed by the GITA Education Committee and filled using the link on this page

Individuals selected to present at either, or both events, will be notified by no later than mid-October.

In the event of similar submissions, the earliest submission date will have priority.
