Data Collection

Data Collection is necessary in today’s world.  Every construction project has tons of data that could be important in the future.  We will show you have the Green Bay Water Utility has decided to efficiently collect data by using a Trimble Yuma in the filed using WISCORS and how the data is dropped it into our GIS program for easy retrieval in the future.

GIS in Emergency Response: 2016 and Beyond

The summer of 2016 saw two Federally Declared Emergencies in Wisconsin. We will look at the GIS response to both of those incidents, lessons learned and the future plans Wisconsin Emergency Management has for GIS during and after a disaster.

Data after collection – Reporting and Recall

We will review a collaborative solution that turned inspection records into a dynamic planning resource. By sorting, filtering, combining, and aggregating information, the tool creates informative views of collected data to help decision makers plan budgets and operations.

Gas Meter Marking in Chicago

Peoples Gas initiated a large-scale meter marking initiative in Chicago to streamline the construction process and lessen the impact on customers.  We will demonstrate how ArcGIS Online and Collector are leveraged in conjunction with FME to capture data and track progress.
