NarrativeThis webinar describes the questionnaire content and provides an overview of responses received to date. Also discussed are the various purposes the questionnaire is intended to serve: establishing an appropriate body of knowledge for applied geodesy; determining the level of support in the geospatial community; identifying areas of interest and existing status of geodetic knowledge; providing guidance on creating and prioritizing educational content; and showing the breadth and depth of the field of geodesy. The questionnaire itself is but a first step. Moving forward will require work, commitment, and cooperation. Success will only be realized through a broad base of committed support across a wide variety of geospatial organizations. As part of that process, AAGS created an online questionnaire at https://geodetic.xyz/survey/index.php/378997.
