Texas Gulf Coast Chapter

Dear Chapter Members and GIS professionals: 

Several of you have expressed interest in some type of salary and benefits information as it applies to the Greater Houston area. In addition, we have also received requests from the local colleges and schools regarding potential salary data for new students entering the GIS profession. Although various salary surveys are available, none of them are specific to the Greater Houston area. Therefore, the Chapter has decided to conduct a mini salary/benefits survey of GIS professionals and Employers in the Houston area. 

We are requesting that our members and others in the GIS profession, as well as their employers, assist us by completing the survey by July 15, 2007. Due to our limited sample size, we need to get as many responses as possible. If you are a manager or supervisor with GIS professionals reporting to you, please request them to submit the survey also.  We will be happy to share the results summary with all persons who respond to the survey--simply enter the email address where you would like the results forwarded into the final blank.
