Quarterly Newsletter Announced!

GITA's Ontario Chapter is pleased to announce the first issue of Networks Ontario, a quarterly newsletter that will be distributed to all members of the Ontario Chapter, updating you to all upcoming conferences, events, and collaborative efforts in the chapter area. Check out the Spring 2007 issue for information on the upcoming presentation at the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources--the first in a series of presentations included in the chapter's Educational Events series.

Ontario GITA/URISA Geospatial Go Green Seminar

Geospatial Go Green Seminar & Golf Tournament:

• Each player tees off on each hole. The best of the tee shots is selected and all players play their second shots from that spot. The best of the second shots is determined, then all play their third shots from that spot, and so on until the ball is holed.
• Each team must use a minimum of 3 tee shots from each team member.

GITA Ontario Fall Forum Puts the Future on Display
Delegates to the GITA Ontario Fall Forum saw the future before their eyes.

Delegates sit comfortably at tables in a meeting room at the Oakville Conference Centre for an interactive session called “Finding a Place for GIS in the Organization,” led by Kris Philpott, standing at front, and Greg Duffy, seated near him.
